Students:  Today is the last day to purchase prom tickets during 4th and 6th lunches or anytime in the Library from Mrs. Dlugosz or from Ms. Niespo in room 215. The cost is $30 per ticket.  . You must have your payment to receive your tickets. If you need non-Marian guest forms, see Mr. Dainty or Mrs. Imus!

Juniors and Seniors - Have you heard the buzz around school? After prom is at Marian this year and it's going to be awesome! An extra 3 hours after the prom to spend hanging out with your friends, making memories that will last a lifetime. There will be basketball, volleyball, ping pong, 6 foot Jenga, a photobooth, Brush and Board painting class, escape rooms, gaming....and lots and lots of food! And it is at NO COST to the students! You can get your tickets in Dr. Bishop's room starting today! And it is open to all juniors and seniors - you do not have to attend prom to come to the after prom. So don't miss out on the fun - get your tickets today.

A reminder  Coach Glon's 1st hour class:   We will meet in the cafeteria on Tuesday April 23rd for a quiz 1st hour, come dressed for school you will not be able to go to the locker room to change.

Representatives from the University of Notre Dame ROTC program will be here on May 1st, during Homeroom in the Cafeteria for a short presentation on their program. We invite anyone who is interested in a scholarship or a career as an officer in the military to attend. Please sign out with your homeroom teacher and come to the cafeteria as soon as possible.

Sports:

The Rugby Club lost a hard fought battle to Angola 24-20 on Wednesday. Scoring trys for the Knights were Isau Gonzalez and Jonathon Eades.  The Knights are next in action next Wednesday versus Warsaw at the Moose Rugby Grounds.

The Marian Rugby Club defeated Fort Wayne Homestead 32-0 yesterday.  Scoring Trys for the Knights were Eddy Murphy, Isau Gonzalez, Gabe Kerr, Tyler McCaffrey, Larry Daher, & Jonathon Eades. The win moves the club's season record to 3-1.

The Knights next play Angola on Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the Moose Rugby Grounds in Elkhart.

Hike the grounds of Gethsemani Abbey, explore the historic town of Bardstown and the city of Louisville, learn about sustainable farming at Plowshare Farm, and serve at a soup kitchen in downtown Louisville. There will be an interest meeting with more information at 6:30 tonight in room 216. Questions? See Ms. Wageman.

Come to the Variety Show! See all your incredibly talented peers perform in this year's Variety Show. Performances are Wednesday, March 27th and Thursday, March 28th at 7:00pm.  All performances at the Battell Center. Tickets are $5 and will be sold during all lunch hours in the cafeteria AND at the door each night of the performance. See you there!

Sports:

The Marian Rugby Club won two matches on Saturday, defeating West Ottawa 55-0 and Grand Haven 24-0.  Scoring trys for the Knights were Isau Gonzalez with 3, Jake Galasso & Cameron Street with 2 apiece, and Colin Kerr, Gabe Kerr, Jonathon Eades, Eddy Murphy, Michael Murphy, and Braeden Berry with 1 apiece. On conversions Colin Kerr went 1 of 3 and Gabe Kerr went 5 of 9.  Way to go guys! The Knights play Penn next on Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the Moose Rugby Grounds in Elkhart.

Environmental Club will meet tomorrow after school this week for a short meeting in Room 241. We will be discussing fundraising plans.

Coach Glon's First hour class: A reminder that there will be no early lifting tomorrow and Friday.

Tomorrow after school is the last trip of the season to ETHOS for robotics.  We will organize, plan, and maybe have some pizza to celebrate a great season.

LET'S WRAP IT UP!!!  Mock Trial and Quiz Bowl Members: Season Wrap-up and awards will take place at the "end of season party", March 6th 3-5pm.  We will have a movie, popcorn and goodies party!! Please plan to attend.

Come sing, dance, juggle, jiggle, jump, whatever it is you do best, come show it off for a chance to be in our 3rd Annual Variety Show.  Auditions are Monday, March 11th, from 4:30pm-6:30pm, and Tuesday, March 12th, from 3:30-5:30. All auditions are in the music room. Sign-up for a time-slot outside of the attendance office. Please bring all materials you need to show us one minute of your act. Questions? Ask Ms. Pingel or Mrs. Kloska for details.

Any football players that did not see Coach Davidson yesterday need to see him by the end of the day today.

Also, all football players who want to order sectional championship t-shirts or hoodies need to see Coach Bajdek for an order form. Orders are due by Monday March 11th.

Students:  Tomorrow we will begin our Student Hunger Drive. If you bring $2 or 5 cans of food, you may wear jeans, sweats or shorts with a Marian Spirit top.

Mass will be celebrated after school today @ 3:10pm in the chapel.  All are welcome!

Auditions continue today from 3:15pm until 6:00pm in the music room for Marian’s spring musical, Into the Woods. Come be part of the story. Call backs are tomorrow and Thursday (28th) from 3:15-6:00pm. To audition, be prepared to sing the National Anthem and read scenes from the show. Please sign up for a singing time on the sheet outside the music room.  Any question? See Ms. Pingel.
