The forms for non-Marian guest are also due this Wednesday.

SPIRIT NIGHT dance will practice during homeroom tomorrow in both gyms.  Art continues every day after school in the bus garage.

There will be food, a baby to find and a prize for the winner, as well as a presentation by Dr. Phil Sutton on Psychology and Spirituality! This is a Marian event, not a Campus Ministry event and YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN CAMPUS MINISTRY TO ATTEND!

Congratulations to the Marian Dance Team on their outstanding performances at this weekend’s Homestead Invitational. The team placed 2nd in both Pom and Jazz and will advance to the North Regional competition on February 24th at Lake Central.

Intramural basketball will start up again this Sunday from 6-8 pm. We will be starting the regular season of scheduled games. If you did not attend in December, you can still show up and play. Just remember if you have not signed the concussion awareness form or played a sport this academic year, you need to get a form from Mr. Mullins.

Audition for the spring musical, Anything Goes!  Auditions are today from 3:30-6:00pm and tomorrow, Feb. 6th, from 4:30-7:00pm. Sign-up for your vocal audition on one of the two days, then stay for cold readings that same day. Please come prepared to sing the National Anthem. Sign-ups, plus the sheet music for the National Anthem and the call-back music is available just outside of the choir room. If you haven't signed-up, please feel free to show-up either day and wait for an opening for vocal auditions. Call-backs will be Wednesday, Feb. 7th, from 3:30-6:00pm. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Malooley or Ms. Pingel. All are welcome to audition!  Students, please note, if you are auditioning, Ms. Pingel is available at lunch today and tomorrow if you would like help preparing the National Anthem.

Congratulations to all of our singers who participated in the Voice and Piano this weekend.  All Marian students earned medals for their performances! We earned 7 gold medals and 1 silver medal. Congratulations to Maya Davis for earning a Silver medal in voice.  The following students earned gold Medal in Voice and have qualified for the State Competition:  Molly Burnham, Jack Kielman, Grace Thomas and Jillian Walter.  Congratulations to Molly Burnham and Alexa Synder for earning Gold Medals in Piano and to Alexa for qualifying for the State Competition.

The girls basketball team would like to thank all the fans who came out and supported the Lady Knights as they won their first ever sectional championship Saturday night!!!

We would also like to congratulate Kiya Roby making Honorable Mention NIC, Anija Payne, making 2nd team NIC, and Meghan Urbanski making 1st team and being named the NIC's Most Valuable Player!!!

The Athletic Department will be hosting the Spring Sports Parent Meeting on Wednesday, February 7th at 6pm.  Emails are being sent out with the information and which room each sport will meet in.  Please remind your parents and plan on attending.

Congratulations to the Marian Dance Team on a great day at the Lake Central Dance Invitational! The girls placed 1st in pom and 2nd in jazz, with two very strong performances! The team heads to the Homestead Invitational next weekend in Fort Wayne! Keep it up, dancers!

Girls Basketball travels to John Glenn to take on Jimtown tonight at 7:30.  A win tonight puts the ladies in the Sectional Championship tomorrow at 7:00.  We are asking that EVERYBODY make the trip to John Glenn High School tomorrow night to witness the first ever Sectional Championship for the Girls Basketball Program!

The Lady Knights won their 19th game of the year last night 47-22 over New Prairie.  We are now two wins away from winning the school's first ever Sectional Championship in Girls Basketball.  In order to make history, we are going to need your help.  We need all of you to head to John Glenn High School on Friday at 7:30 and Saturday at 7:00.  Go Knights!

There will be a NHS meeting during homeroom tomorrow, Jan 31st, in the cafeteria. If you can't make the homeroom meeting, attend the after school meeting at 3:10 pm in Room 208.

Attention Seniors:   Ivy Tech will be here Monday,February 5th & IUSB will be here on Friday, February 16th to do on-site admissions. Admissions fees are waived for these visits.  If you'd like to meet with their admissions reps, see Mrs. Kloska in School Counseling to set up an appointment and pick up an application.

Variety Show Auditions are here! Don't regret not auditioning. If you can sing, dance, juggle, tell a joke, or have any talent to share, come to auditions.  Auditions will continue tomorrow, Jan 31st in the music room from 4:30-6:30.  If you have questions or want to audition, but can't make either of those times, then come see Mrs. Malooley in room 217.

Attention Senior Girls’:  Don’t forget if you are interested in ordering a senior class sweatshirt, there are order forms still available in the main office.  Orders are due Feb. 1st.  See Hannah Toepp with any questions.

Attention Spanish Club:   t-shirt money is due this Thursday. The order will be placed on Thursday. $20 for long sleeve and $15 for short sleeve. Please see Mrs. Martinez or Ms. Kaser.

Spirit Night ART sessions begin after school, Monday, Feb 5th, and will run every day until the 20' x 40' mural is completed.  Help your team earn points while having a blast creating a stunning and HUGE piece of art!

Sports:

The Athletic Department will hold a signing day event for all athletes who will be signing National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, February 7th at 8:50am.  If you will be signing please contact the athletic office.
