If you did not pick up your yearbook after Service Day, you may pick it up from Ms. Niespo any day after school next week. She will also have books at 4th and 6th lunch on Monday. Please get your book ASAP!

Anime club will meet at 3:15 in room 229.  We will figure out what to watch together.  All are welcome!

Tabletop gaming will also meet in room 229 after school.

The Fantastic Friday Film after school in the Library today is Ben Stiller's:  Night at the Museum. All are welcome!

Attention Knights for Life:  if you are still in need of service hours for the March for LIfe in Washington, you can pray the rosary with us every morning at 7:30am in the chapel.  This is part of the 40 days for Life! Each rosary will count as 30 minutes of service. Remember, you cannot attend the march without completing your service hours.  See Mrs. Kloska in the Development office if you have any questions.

Our Blood Drive is Tuesday, October 23rd in the BCAC. Anyone interested  in donating please see Mrs. Cseh during your lunch. You must be 17 to donate.

The Speech and Debate Club will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 23rd, at 3:15 in Mrs. Anderson's Room 118.

Sports:

Attention Lady Knights-our annual Powder Puff Football game is next Wednesday, October 24th!!  If you are interested in playing, it's not too late. We have two practices left on Monday and Tuesday next week.  Practices are after school from 3:15pm - 4:30pm in the grassy area just inside the football gates. All are welcome to play!!  Remember it's blue vs white and winner will receive points toward spirit night!

Congratulations to Coach Davidson and the Marian Football team for winning a share of the NIC South with a 41-0 win over Washington this past Friday!  The boys begin tournament play when they travel to Fairfield on Friday, October 19th at 7:00.

There is a retired gentleman who needs help boxing his belongings on Saturday, October 20th for an upcoming move. He is willing to pay $10 an hour and would need approximately 6 hours worth of work. If interested, please see Mrs. Dlugosz.

Attention Mock Trial:   The attorneys are ready to begin!!  We will practice, beginning today from 5:00-7:00pm in Rm. 117 with the attorneys.  Once the Case is released, and the attorneys can make it, we will start practice also on Thursdays (beginning November 1st)  Please remember, the expectation is that you will attend AT LEAST one practice per week thru November and then all practices until the Competition.

A Reminder to Coach Glon's 1st hour class:   You will meet in the cafeteria tomorrow, Friday Oct 5th, and Monday Oct. 8th.  Bring your notebooks for quizzes, something to study for afterwards, and be dressed in your school uniform of these days. You will not be able to go to the locker-room. There will be no early lifting on those days for anyone.

The Marian Community has raised $5,916 for breast cancer research.  This makes us the highest fund-raising team in the area out of 99 teams.  Because of this, the Marian Team has been chosen to lead the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk this Saturday.  We want to have a big group representing Marian, so we are asking everyone to join us! We will be gathering by the big fireplace at 8 am at Central Park in Mishawaka.  Bring your friends and families, and wear pink or Marian spirit wear! Remember that the Walk counts for service hours. Please sign up with Mr. A in room 103 if you are going to walk.  We should be done by 11:00am

Bring your notebooks for quizzes, something to study for afterwards, and be dressed in your school uniform of these days. You will not be able to go to the locker-room. There will be no early lifting on those days for anyone.

This Saturday, October 6, is the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.  We would like to invite all members of the Marian Family to join the Walk. Students can apply it to service hour requirements.  If you would like to be involved, please sign up with Mr. A this week. We will gather at 8 am at Mishawaka's Central Park. The Walk should be done by 11:30.  We ask everyone who walks to wear either pink or Marian Spirit Wear. Please join us, it is a fun experience!

Attention Lady Knights: Next Monday, October 8th, representatives from Kerri's Avenue Salon will be here to provide pink hair extensions in support of all women battling breast cancer. The cost is $10, and all the proceeds will go to Hello Gorgeous

Stage Crew Unite!!  Come use your talents in the Fall production!  We need help building the set and help running sound and lights. Stage crew will be working every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 to 5:15. Sign up on the Theater board outside of the music room by Tuesday afternoon.

A message for football players who have study tables in Mrs. Madison's room today: You are to report to Mrs. Rutherford's classroom, room 102, for study tables today. Be in room 102 today with all study materials no later than 3:15.

Swimmers and divers:  Report to Coach Niespo's room, 215, at 3:30 for dryland practice and and info meeting today! If you can't attend, make sure you check in with her at some point during the day.

Congratulations to the Girls Soccer team on their 1-0 win over Adams last night on Senior Knight!  The ladies will begin Sectionals next week at Plymouth.

Congratulations also to the Volleyball team.  With their victory at Riley last night, they clinched at least a share of the NIC South division.  A win against Bremen on Senior Knight next Tuesday will make them the outright champs!

There will be NHS meetings now in the cafeteria and after school in Room 208. This meeting is only for seniors who were inducted in the NHS last year. Make sure you are there.

All of Mrs. Madison's students are reminded to meet in the library today. Bring a pen or pencil and your Google Classroom password.  9th Honors should also bring their grammar.
