Marian High School accepts a select group of transfer students each year. The number of available positions is determined at the end of the school year by the administration and is contingent on the current enrollment for each class as well as the enrollment of the entire school. Once all required materials have been submitted - preferably by the end of May - potential transfer students may be contacted for an interview. Decision notifications are made by early July.
Those interested in transferring to Marian High School should complete the transfer application through our online application system.
Transfer students will be required to collect and submit the following items during the application process.
Application for Admission
Parental Release Form for Transcripts and Test Scores
Completed Home Language Survey (if transferring from a state other than Indiana)
Recommendation from Math and English teachers. An optional third recommendation may be submitted as well.
As part of the admissions process, a prospective transfer student to Marian High School should consider her or his eligibility for participation in interscholastic athletics. While not every transferring student will desire to compete athletically, students should be aware of the rules that govern eligibility. Please review Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) rules pertaining to transfers and athletic eligibility at www.ihsaa.org.
