International Travel Groups
Marian High School offers several opportunities for students to travel both for enrichment and pleasure. By immersing themselves in the language and culture of other countries, students are able to translate classroom lessons into real life experiences, and understand the greater world around them. Recent trips have included visits to Costa Rica, Spain, Portugal, France, England, and Italy.
Marian faculty organize, facilitate, and chaperone each trip utilizing expert student travel companies. Parents are always welcome to join the trips as well.
Summer 2020 ~ Lima, Sacred Valley, Cuzco, Puno, extension to Paracas
Marian has partnered with Education First Educational Tours (EFET) to provide this trip for our students. EFET describes the tour as follows:
From the shores of the Pacific Ocean to the banks of Lake Titicaca in Puno, immerse yourself in the natural splendor and rich history of Peru. This land has been home to some of the world's most ancient civilizations. You'll retrace the roots of the Inca Empire in Cuzco and at Machu Picchu, a destination like no other on Earth, while also exploring the Spanish Empire's reign in Lima.

Summer 2021 ~ Treasures of Central Europe
Marian has again partnered with EF Educational Tours for an exciting tour of the Treasures of Central Europe! The following is an excerpt from the EFET website:
Every city in Central Europe has its own character, its own mood, its own experience to offer. In Prague and Budapest, it’s the architectural beauty that captures your attention. In Berlin, you’re pulled in by the pivotal history that’s taken place there. In Munich and Vienna, it’s the charm of the cobblestone streets, wide boulevards and bustling town squares.
Our trip will take us through 5 countries including Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Switzerland. We will also take an afternoon walking tour through the picturesque village of Colmar in northern France.
Major cities we will visit include:- Berlin, Munich, Heidelberg, and Dresden, Germany
- Prague, Czech Republic
- Budapest, Hungary
- Vienna, Austria
- Colmar, France

We will encounter an immense amount of beauty and culture and will tour important historic sites that students have studied.
