Rice Signs with Central Michigan

Marian High School is very proud to announce that Anthony Rice has signed his national letter of intent to attend Central Michigan University to play football this fall. Anthony holds 4 school records for receiving at Marian.
- Total Yards in a Season 744 yds (2011) Career 1262 yds (09-11)
- Most Receptions for a Season 43 (2011) and Career 75 (09-11).
He was a three year two way starter for the Knights and team captain. His other accomplishments included 2x All NIC selection, AP & Coaches All State, All Area (2010-11) and All Truth (2010) team selections, Jr All State IFCA, and Region 2 All Star.

The Knight Football Family wishes him luck on his next challenge in life.

Marian High School :: Girls Softball

Huntington College Softball signs Marian High School standout Ariel Sheets.

Ariel Sheets, a starting pitcher for the Knights since her freshman year, enters the final season of her prep career with 52 wins, just two wins shy of the Marian school record. This three-time Northern Indiana Conference pick guided her team to a sectional championship this past spring and for her efforts was named Third Team All-State.

Over the course of Sheets’ career, she has led the Knights to seven tournament championships including the Caveman Classic where she was named the tournament MVP.

She has also made a name for herself in the offseason by helping pitch her summer teams to numerous championships. She is a three-time member of the District 11 Big League Team and led her team to a fourth place finish in the Little League World Series in the summer of 2009.
