Regina Caeli: The Regina Caeli group strives to provide an opportunity for young ladies at Marian to grow in a greater understanding of their Catholic faith, to challenge one another to live their Catholic Christian values, and to begin to discern their life’s vocation whether married, single or as a religious sister. Meetings are held monthly moderated by Sr. Lois DeLee, OSF and Mrs. Carol Miller. Sr. Lois encourages those who are interested to actively pursue the possibility of serving the Church as a religious sister.
A.C.T.S. (A Chance to Serve)
A.C.T.S. strives to have a core of committed students who are willing and able to be trained and serve the Marian community through Campus Ministry. Many of our students participate as altar servers, lectors, ushers, set up and take down teams, sound crew, Liturgical Choir and Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. Certain ministries have specific diocesan guidelines for applicants which are explained to the students.
Campus Ministry Leadership Team
The leadership team under Campus Ministry consists of seniors who are dedicated to their faith and committed to service. These students are recommended by the theology faculty and go through a specific process of application, recommendations and selection. These students serve on retreats and various activities sponsored by campus ministry.
Right to Life: Mission Statement
Life is a precious gift that deserves honor and devotion. As students in high school endowed with the gift of life, we vow to respect life and honor it always and to protect life in all stages from the moment of conception until natural death. As creatures of the Lord our God it is our duty and privilege to stand firmly in favor of life and defend those incapable of defending themselves.
Marian’s Right to Life Group promotes the culture of life, gathering to pray and support life at all stages from conception to natural death. The group stresses education on life issues, demonstrates their commitment to life through club activities and strives to work together in a spirit of charity and hope to change hearts and minds.
The group meets on the second and fourth Wed. of the month at 7:40 a.m.
