Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord

The Marian High School community grieves the loss of our beloved shepherd, Bishop Emeritus John M. D'Arcy who was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, February 3.  This day was the 56th anniversary of his celebration of his first Mass as a priest.    The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend has been immeasurably blessed by Bishop D'Arcy's faithful leadership and pastoral care over the last twenty-eight years.  Many students and alumni fondly remember Bishop D'Arcy 's strong support of Catholic education at the all area schools' Masses, the annual pastoral visits, the Baccalaureate Masses, and the sacrament of Confirmation.
