Come One and Come all the final performing Arts Concert of the Year tonight at Battell. Hear songs from the choir, drumline and performances by the theater class. The show lasts about an hour and is free and open to the public!

The Library will be closed to all but study hall students during 4th hour lunch for the remainder of the school year.

Sophomores running for Junior Class office will be filming speeches immediately after school today in Mrs. Madison's room, room 212.

Vincentians we will be taking yearbook pictures in the library after school today.

Creative Writing Club meets today. Please come for a final workshop, word games, and snacks. We will also be taking our yearbook picture.

There will be an NHS meeting for this year's junior members only tomorrow, during homeroom, in the cafeteria. We will rerun the meeting after school in Room 208 if you can't make the homeroom meeting. Important changes to NHS service for next year will be discussed so make sure you attend this last meeting of the school year.

Don't miss the final Latin Club Party tomorrow from 3:15 - 4:15 in room 124.

Attention boys interested in playing football next season: There will be a short informational meeting today after school at 3:10 in Coach Davidson's classroom 110. The meeting will only last 15 minutes.

Tryouts for the 2019 Football Cheer team Season will be held today, Thursday, and Friday, from 3:45pm-5:45pm in the BCAC.  If you are interested in cheering, please plan on attending in the following attire:  Athletic shorts, athletic shoes and socks, no sleeveless tops, no jewelry, no nails longer than finger tip, and long hair should be pulled up.

Cross Country will have a call out meeting after school today to discuss summer running and next year's season. Please meet in Coach Neidhart's room, 112, at 3:15pm to see what this sport is all about. If you cannot attend, but are interested, please see Coach Neidhart so he can get you the information.

Students:  We will have a spirit day dress tomorrow to benefit Catholic Relief Services. To participate, please bring a minimum of $1.00 and you may wear jeans or khakis with a Marian spirit top.

The Rugby Club defeated Fort Wayne Homestead 42-0 on Sunday evening. Scoring trys for the Knights were Isau Gonzalez with 2, Gabe Kerr with 2, and James Bettcher, Atticus Horvath, Jonathan Eades, and Eddie Murphy with 1 each.  The Knights next play Carmel on Saturday in Columbus Indiana in round two of the state tournament.

Tryouts for the 2019-2020 Marian Dance Team will begin tonight at 6:00pm in the BCAC, with a mandatory parent meeting at 7:30pm. Previous dance experience is not required. If you have questions, contact Coach Heather McClain or talk to a current team member.

Congratulations to Francie Hartenagle and Lala Petty who both qualified for the track regionals. Francie is the sectional pole vault champion and Lala placed 2nd in the 400 meter dash and 3rd in the 100 meter dash.

Sports:

The Marian Rugby Club defeated Hamilton Southeastern on Saturday 22-15. Scoring for the Knights were Isau Gonzalez with 2 Trys, Eddie Murphy and Atticus Horvath with 1 apiece. Also, Atticus went 1 for 1 on conversions after his Try.  The Knights begin the playoffs this weekend at the Moose Rugby Grounds.

The Marian Dance Team will have another pre-season practice tonight from 5:30-7:00pm at St. Bavo's. Anyone interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 season is encouraged to attend. No prior dance experience is required! If you have any questions, please contact coach Heather McClain, or talk to a current team member.  

Attention football players: There will be a meeting Tuesday morning at 7:30 in Coach Bajdek's room for Quarterbacks, receivers, running backs, and tight ends.

Attention ALL students who took an ART CLASS this Fall and Spring! Your work will be on display TODAY during our 21st  FINE ARTS FESTIVAL! Musicians and theatre will be performing! Seniors will have their own personal Art exhibits! This art festival is FREE and open to ALL Marian students and the community, so please invite your family and friends!! We want your presence there!  Join us TONIGHT from 7:00-9:00pm to enjoy the Fine Arts FESTIVAL!

Spanish Club will have a brief meeting after school today in room 104 to discuss the Cinco de Mayo event. It is very important to attend this meeting to be able to successfully plan this event.

An extra 3 hours after the prom to spend hanging out with your friends, making memories that will last a lifetime. There will be basketball, volleyball, ping pong, 6 foot Jenga, a photobooth, Board and Brush painting class, escape rooms, gaming....and lots and lots of food! And it is at NO COST to the students! But you do need to get a ticket so we know how much food to buy! Deadline to get tickets is Wednesday - in Dr. Bishop's room - rm 241. It is open to all juniors and seniors - you do not have to attend prom to come to the after prom. So don't miss out on the fun - get your tickets today! And since Dr Bishop may be in other rooms today due to testing, tickets will also be available during 4th lunch from Mrs. Imus in the attendance office.

Marian Rugby defeated Warsaw last night 39-29. Scoring for the Knights were Isau Gonzalez, Michael Murphy, Gabe Kerr, Jake Galasso, & Tyler McCaffrey. The Knights next play next weekend in the Midwest Rugby Tournament at the Moose Rugby Grounds in Elkhart.
