The first day of school, Monday, August 11 is an Orientation Day for all students. Students should report to school in uniform and following the dress code during the following times:
     Freshmen       8:30-11:00am
     Sophomores    12:00 noon
     Juniors        1:00pm
     Seniors        2:00pm

All Freshmen students are asked to enter Marian through the Main Office Entrance / Door 1 and report to the Main Gymnasium. The session for Freshmen includes a complimentary brunch that will be available in the cafeteria. All returning students should report at the above times for a general information session in the gym.

Following this class meeting, all students will be given their official class schedule, have their I.D. photo taken and, except for the Seniors, have their yearbook picture taken. All students are reminded that the school’s dress and grooming code begins on August 11. Any student not properly dressed and groomed will not be allowed to participate in the Orientation, will be sent home, and counted absent for the day.

In order to avoid traffic back ups, parents can pick up their students from any of the three entrances - Main, South/Freshmen Hallway area, or North/gym parking lot.
