722 Integrated Chemistry/Physics (1 Credit)

Integrated Chemistry/Physics is designed as an overview of major concepts in chemistry and physics. Laboratory investigations are used in class as the primary tool used to investigate and analyze the physical world in which we live.  An emphasis is placed on practical knowledge of concepts as well as application of knowledge learned. Students will routinely put their understanding to use as they strive to complete performance based tasks and assessments.

Fulfills a Core 40 science (physical) course requirement for the Core 40 and Core 40 with Academic Honors diplomas or counts as an Elective or Directed Elective for any diploma. Counts as a Quantitative Reasoning course.

 

Class will take place at Marian from 8:00 - 11:45 during the second summer school session on these dates:

Session 2: July 7 - July 23
 
Week One: Mon. July 7 - Thurs. July 10
Week Two: Mon. July 14 - Thurs. July 17

 

Week Three: Mon. July 21 - Wed. July 23
