PLTW ~ Project Lead The Way
Marian High School adopted Project Lead The Way (PLTW) into its curriculum in 2016 to enrich the opportunities for students to learn and use coding principles. The leveled curriculum includes Computer Science Essentials and Computer Science Principles. Together, these courses provide students the opportunity to create and direct technology, not just to use its products.
At a time when computer science increasingly integrates with our world, PLTW offers an interdisciplinary approach to engage students to find real-world solutions to tomorrow's challenges. Students become better thinkers, communicators, and problem-solvers as they work together to design solutions within this rewarding curriculum, setting a robust opportunity for further collegiate pursuit in the technological disciplines.
