International Travel Groups
Marian High School offers several opportunities for students to travel both for enrichment and pleasure. By immersing themselves in the language and culture of other countries, students are able to translate classroom lessons into real life experiences, and understand the greater world around them. Recent trips have included visits to Costa Rica, Spain, Portugal, Rome, and Italy.
Marian faculty organize, facilitate, and chaperone each trip utilizing expert student travel companies. Parents are always welcome to join the trips as well.
Summer 2019 ~ Paris, Normandy, and London
Marian has partnered with Education First Educational Tours (EFET) to provide this trip for our students. EFET describes the tour as follows:
What would have happened to Paris and London - and the world - without the D-Day heroes of Normandy? Liberated from Nazi occupation, Paris regained its footing as a capital of artistic expression and enlightenment. You'll experience this spirit at the Louvre and Place de la Concorde. Freed from merciless bombings, London reemerged as an international center of ideas and culture. You'll feel the unwavering vitality at Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus.
Mrs. Caila Anderson, history teacher at Marian, is the organizer and chaperone for this exciting and educational tour. Please contact Mrs. Anderson with any questions.
