Class of 2025 Graduation Activities & News

For those not attending the senior meeting, graduation tickets and full instructions have been mailed to your home.

Senior Yard Signs - Preorder dealine has passed. Please send in $15 with your student, attention Alicia Redinger. Signs will be available for pick up by May 23.

Please pick your 5-10 favorite pictures from any extra-curricular activities/events from Marian (i.e. dances, games, spirit knight, etc) and send them to Beth Garatoni at (574) 220-6398 with your name. This is for senior breakfast on the 23rd so make sure to send the pictures before that Monday (5/19). Please make sure you send in the photos so everyone is included!

Thursday, May 29 at 7:00 p.m. - Baccalaureate Mass (arrive between 6:15-6:30)

Bishop Rhoades will celebrate the Baccalaureate Mass at 7:00 p.m. at St. Pius X on Fir Road in Granger. Early seating is recommended, especially if your family requires extra seats. The seniors wear their graduation gowns but not their caps for Mass. Approved tassels, stoles, cords and medals should be worn, if desired, for the Baccalaureate Mass.

Graduates should arrive between 6:15-6:30 and gather in the Parish Life Center (Main entrance off Fir Rd). They will process in and sit at the front of the church as a class. Alumni legacy parents and grandparents are invited to take a group picture with their graduates after Mass. The Bishop will be available after the Mass for photographs with your graduate.

Dress Code: Gentlemen should wear shirts, ties, long pants, and dress shoes. Ladies should wear modest dresses of appropriate length or dress pants and an appropriate top.

Friday, May 30th at 7:00 p.m. - Graduation at Morris Performing Arts Center (arrive between 6:15-6:30)

Attendance Required

We have rented the Morris Performing Arts Center for Commencement this year. Eight (8) tickets will be given to each family. These tickets are for the main floor (first come, first serve), mezzanine, and first balcony seating. Some families purchased reserved seats at the Auction/Bingo Knight. No other seats will be reserved! Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The Center seats 2,500 so there will be plenty of room in the second and third balconies for other guests who do not have tickets!

There are a limited number of wheelchair and handicapped seats available. Contact [email protected] by Monday May 12 to request this.

Please do not bring balloons, noise makers or air horns to the Morris Performing Arts Center.
